If you’ve ever found yourself buying a $6 bottle of sunscreen or realizing halfway through a tournament that you forgot your phone charger, welcome to the club.
After years of raising kids who seem to live at practices, games, and tournaments, I’ve learned one thing:
Not every sports day needs the same bag.
Instead of carrying everything everywhere, I keep three bags packed and ready to grab.
It saves time, money, and a whole lot of stress.
Here’s exactly what’s in each one.
Side Note – I also keep the car ready with bleacher seats, folding chairs, and waterproof blankets. I also have a tub in the trunk where I keep bug spray, sunscreen, and wet wipes.

The Biggest Lesson I’ve Learned
I used to pack one giant bag with everything.
It was heavy.
I could never find anything.
And somehow, I still forgot what I actually needed.
Now I keep three bags with three different jobs.
Practice bag. (Everyday Purse)
Tournament bag. (Bigger Canvas Bag)
Travel tournament bag. (Weekender Bag)
It may sound simple, but it’s one of those little systems that makes busy sports seasons feel a whole lot less chaotic.
Because if you’ve got multiple kids in multiple sports, anything that saves time is worth it.
