My “No Grocery Shopping” Challenge

Before I head to the store, I ask myself:

✔️ Can this become tacos?
✔️ Can it go on a pizza?
✔️ Can it go in soup?
✔️ Can it mix with rice?
✔️ Can it go with pasta?
✔️ Can it go in a casserole?
✔️ Can I make a grain bowl?
✔️ Can I bake it into potatoes?
✔️ Can I make quesadillas?
✔️ Can breakfast become dinner?

Most of the time, the answer is yes.

That’s how we keep food out of the trash, stretch our grocery budget, and make room before our monthly bulk shopping trip.

The goal isn’t fancy meals—it’s using what you already have. Every ingredient you use before shopping is money you don’t have to spend replacing something you forgot was already in your kitchen.
